Mount Eyak, a mountain above Cordova, is at the end of a ridge of small mountains. Up on the ridge, on the north side of Eyak's peak is a small lake called Crater Lake. This lake with its crystal clear water and spectacular mountain setting has been a great source of inspiration for David Rosenthals paintings. David spends time hiking these areas in the summer and skiing in the winter. Every season offers different scenery and views that continue to inspire new and amazing art work each year.
