Well known for his landscape paintings and images of Antarctica, David Rosenthal has also traveled extensively and created a body of work that covers a large geopraphic area. The ever changing light is captured in a way that almost seems surreal, but is more realistic than photographs seem to be. His work over the years has created a record of climate change for the areas he has painted repeatedly.

The paintings seem to magically reflect the intensity of nature's colors and the atmospheric phenomena that David witnesses.
